As 2015 comes to a close, I want to extend my deepest thanks to all of you for supporting SURTEX over the years. It’s been a little more than a year for me on the Show, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results we are having so far.
Of course, there is always room for improvement. We have to be nimble about changes in the market and the dynamics of this industry. We have to stay alert to new trends and issues, and we have to stay relevant to the market we serve.
To that end, I’m excited to continue to bring new ideas and new ways to deliver value to both attendees and exhibitors. We’ve announced a matchmaking service that will live on line in the show planner, and then onsite through our mobile app…And a new way (stay tuned for details) to engage with each other and win prizes and money as an attendee. This will give buyers more time on the floor and more opportunity to engage with exhibitors and showcase the artwork on display.
We’re also hosting a media preview and inviting consumer media and B2B media, who have a powerful voice in the industry…and in the minds of consumers who are looking for that next cool product offering using your art.
