REALLY NEW, FRESH & ORIGINAL: The Design District at SURTEX 2017.  An economical exhibit area created exclusively for first-time SURTEX exhibitors, the dedicated show space is attracting artists who will be bringing New, Fresh & Original work to their debuts at the Show.  Here’s a preview of two newcomers:

SCARLET LAKE — Expect “Nostalgia on the Edge” from Design District exhibitor Nancy Erickson Dutmer of Scarlet Lake, (booth 3240).  An accomplished painter and bead embroiderer, Nancy will be showing what she describes as “magical images that conjure the belief in all things possible…where innocent imaginations exist before sensibility.”

MELLMEE COMPANY LLC — Design District exhibitor Mellissa Meeks of Mellmee Company LLC. (booth #3132) has followed her manta, “Dream It. Create It. Live It,” to become a first-time exhibitor at SURTEX.  “It’s a goal I set…the perfect platform for launching artist’s and designer’s dreams into reality,” she says. “SURTEX is the game changer!”
