SURTEX® Partners with ModernAdvocates Inc. to Give Exhibit Space to High School Senior, Alleina Dee
New York, NY – SURTEX, the premier trade show for art licensing for designers, manufacturers and retailers, in partnership with ModernAdvocates Inc. announced the exhibition of the Alleina Dee Collection of Digital Art. Alleina Dee, a high school senior from Gateway Academy, is the youngest exhibitor at SURTEX, taking place February 2-5 at the Javits Center in New York City.
SURTEX’s Sales Manager, Awanda Booth, said, “Alleina is an incredibly young and talented artist, and we are very thankful that she will be displaying her work at SURTEX. Through our partnership with ModernAdvocates Inc. we have learned that employment is the primary transition goal of students with disabilities, and we hope to play a small role in helping creative students reach their goals. By donating a booth to ModernAdvocates Inc. and Alleina, SURTEX hopes to encourage young artists on the Autistic and Aspergers Spectrum to seek opportunities that help promote their talents, expression and a possible means to self-sufficiency.”
