SURTEX Welcomes More Than 80 First-Time Exhibitors From
Around the World to Launch New Art and Designs
Manufacturers and designers from varying industries will be in attendance to source designs
for next season’s finished goods and product lines
San Juan Capistrano, CA— APRIL 13, 2016— SURTEX®, North America’s premier event for the selling and licensing of original art and design, with more than 250 exhibitors, will welcome more than 80 new exhibitors, launching new designs and brands, when the show stages May 15-17, 2016. SURTEX attracts thousands of manufacturers and brands that license art for finished products in industries such as, home goods, stationery, furniture, giftware, toys, housewares, home textiles, electronic accessories and more.
Designers from countries including the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands and Argentina, to name a few, have contracted to show their work at the upcoming SURTEX event at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The exhibitors will display their work in one of SURTEX’s four key sections: Art + Brand Licensing, Atelier, The Design District, and the ReSource HuB.
Art + Brand Licensing represents the largest section of the event with more than 125 exhibitors offering creative for license. Atelier features designs exclusively for sale and represent a multitude of product categories. The new Design District, is home to individual artists. The Design District welcomes new artists, giving them the best opportunity to showcase their art to a targeted attendee audience looking to source new designs for use on finished products. SURTEX also features the ReSource HuB, with technology and business resource providers. Among these four areas on the show floor, exhibitors and attendees alike will have the best chance to connect and meet with new business prospects, trade press and industry thought leaders, all under one roof.
