White Plains, NY (May 11, 2017) — SURTEX, the most comprehensive art and brand licensing trade show in the surface design industry, makes its annual return to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City on May 21-23, 2017. Thousands of artists, art agents, designers, licensing agencies, and licensors will present the latest surface designs to manufacturers, retailers and licensees looking to create the next best-selling products in every category imaginable.

Located on the exhibit floor within the ReSource Hub, the 2017 Trend Theatre will feature three 30-minute presentations, delivered each show day. Presentations will focus on the newest trends impacting industries as diverse as home and accessories, textiles, tabletop, fashion, paper, stationery, and, packaging and gifts, through fabulous imagery and insider commentary from world-renowned trend forecasting companies.

For autumn/winter 2018/19, Pantone’s color palettes capture the many facets of time; the fast and furious, the slow and simple, the past and future. Crossing the now towards more futuristic expression, colors range from classic arrangements through to fully saturated, punchy narratives all the while leading to newer and more unique color expressions.
